Station Tracking

Use this feature to set a location which differs from current location. Switch Location Tracing on to open a screen with optional locations. On this screen, you can either type in the ‘Search’ area or scroll through the listing of reporting locations. The chosen location will appear under the Station Tracking link on the previous Setting Screen under Station Tracking.

You can also save this location as a favorite. Or just leave listed. This way, you can switch back and forth between the chosen optional location and the current location. Note that when you switch Station Tracking to ‘On’ and tap on the optional station, the Tidal Chronoscope dial and Info Screen will indicate the time and tide info for the new location. Also note that if you choose a location outside your time zone, an icon will be shown above the tide dial providing you with a choice of time zone. You may choose in this case, the local current time or the station time (in a different time zone).

Look and Feel

• Wallpaper may be used to change the background of the Tide, Lunar or Solar Dials.
• Tide, Lunar and Solar Dial Themes may be used to choose among several dial themes. Note that training wheels dial can used to indicate how the dial works. Training wheels will provide an intuitive and illustrative way to interpret how the dial works and how to adjust the crown for manually setting time.

Location Updates

• Location Update Threshold will provide more frequent updates based on distance.
• Location Update Threshold will provide more frequent updates based on time.
• Note that lower values provide more frequent updates but drain the battery more quickly.

Metric Units

This setting will change the value of the water height on the Info Screen to the metric system when switch to ‘On’. Leaving ‘Off’ will keep the default settings and the values on the Info Screen will be given in English units.
